Beauty Tips for a Younger Looking You

Beauty Tips for a Younger Looking You

Beauty starts from within. Here are some tips and my secrets to a younger looking you, no matter what age you are.

From the beginning of time, the human race has been obsessed with beauty.

As we begin to age from birth, our bodies slough off and regenerate new cells. The speed at which that process takes place as a child is very different as we get older.

There is not miracle drug although the commercial beauty industry can lure into believing that the most recent miracle drug is what you need to fight off the natural process of aging.

The best route to natural beauty and healthy skin is to take care of what you have. It’s as simple as that. The truth is that your skin takes a beating from the environment every day.

Here are some of my beauty tips for keeping your skin fresh and healthy:

  • Hydration…hydration…hydration… Stay hydrated and do it with plenty of water! I said water, not soda, caffeine etc., FYI Soda is very unhealthy (even diet soda), and has a high concentration of sodium. You need fluid that will hydrate and flush your body free of toxins. Make sure you are drinking 5 - 8 glasses a day, your body will know when you’ve had enough.

  • Detox your body regularly; every 2 - 3 months is recommended, and especially the change of the Seasons. Purchase our Organic Detox Tea it’s an herbal blend, 100 % organic, no preservatives, not additives, no chemicals, vegan. Our herbal tea aims to improve your digestion, support your body in healthy elimination of toxins and parasites. Helps with cravings, and improves skin conditions, and reduces bloated belly.

  • Sunlight is awesome, and we love the sunrays, but remember to protect your skin otherwise the sun can contribute to unsightly wrinkles, and skin cancer. If you must play in the sun, make certain you are using a clean sunscreen.

  • Keep your skin clean; wash, exfoliate, and use a moisturizer using organic products. Check out our Amazing Body Butter. When cleaning your skin, use a soft warm cloth. Skin does not require scrubbing. You will do more harm than good if you do.

  • Eat healthy, eating can make a huge difference in how you feel. Poor eating habits can cause depression, weight gain, illness and an overall lethargy.

  • Get enough Vitamin B, D, C and E.

  • Avoid or limit sugar intake from your diet.

  • Maintain adequate weight for your height, weight gain causes your skin to stretch, and as you get older, it loses its elasticity and you're left with sagging skin.

  • Be positive and happy. A positive, and happy outlook appears to trigger the release of endorphins. Endorphins relax the cardiovascular system and cytokines which alert the immune system to pay attention in detecting abnormalities like cancer cells. Listen carefully to yourself. If you have put yourself down since childhood, over a lifetime, negative subliminal messages can take their toll by turning you into a pessimist. Spend one week writing down the phrases you use in your “self-talk.” Chances are you will find that you repeat a dozen or so phrases over and over again that reinforce that negative image. If you know about them, you can change them. Outer and inner beauty goes hand in hand.

Here are 5 tips for increasing joy, hope and optimism that will work no matter what your age:

  1. Laugh a lot. You will heal your body and your mind.

  2. Set a goal and challenge yourself each month.

  3. Try meditating, start with just five minutes each day.

  4. Sex After 50 – Keep it going.

  5. Avoid stress by all means.

The importance of physical intimacy actually depends on the couple. An large number of men to gave up on sex after 60 and many women felt that their sex life ended with menopause. Thankfully, it’s no longer the case.

Sex at middle age can actually become better and more satisfying than ever before. Maturity gives a couple more experience in lovemaking, and the bond gets closer.

Remember, that beauty is skin deep, and getting older does no mean that you’re getting old, it just means you’re getting better.
